Anyway...The reason I thought their was a hurricane because I read this on trip advisor.

There was a hurrican on Holguin in the fall of 2008, causing a lot of damage to that region. I vacationed at the resot in April 2009 and can confirm that the conidtion of the hotel is fine.

| We were just there in middle of Jan. It is in quite good condition. The food for Cuba is quite good. The snorkelling is great. They could use softer beds. We would go back, definetly, but would have to find a way to correct the bed problem. |

we went costa verde twice last year and we loved it, the hotel great the staff were lovely always smiling, we are going this year again in may for 3 weeks and cannot wait, lovely beach warm sea and sunshine

| I returned March 4th and see some of the damage left by the hurricane of 2008. The beach has been drastically changed, with a lot of exposed rock and coral exposed under the once sandy beach. A pair of swim shoes is definately required. Vegetation is growing back, but lots of trees were lost. |
