Hi, Paul and Mary , regarding Hurricane period, starts in June and finish in November month, but now nobody knows if any will be affect our country.

Hello,
whilst September is hurricane season, Cuba is very well prepared and has excellent pre-warning, preparation and emergency management in place. Should a serious hurricane pass your way, you will be warned and evacuated/sent off the island or prepared as necessary. Your safety and well-being is paramount to your host and you need not worry too much.
As the other reply says, there is no forecast as to whether there will be any hurricane activity or not at that time (there weren't any last year !!)
Enjoy your visit. Havana offers great cultural sight and insights, as does Santiago de Cuba in the South of the island. Read up on the island's history beforehand and see what interests you to prepare your travels.
