Hi All
Just returned from a 2 week break at this hotel where we ended up with food poisoning.
People were dropping like flies because of this and we're trying to get as much info together to form a case against the holiday companies who operate there.
Any help would be most appreciated. |

| I will be visiting PP this coming week. Is it possible that you had a reaction from the water? Or, if it was food poisoning, do you know what specifically caused it? I'm a little apprehensive as the last two times I visited Cuba (different locations) I got really bad diarrhea. |

I have booked a trip there with my family Feb 1.
I have read all the tecent reports and Air Transat has said no to switching hotels i am terrified going on vacation |

As far as we know everything is fine with food. Anyway always recommend to drink only bottled water, not from the pile.

WE CAME BACK FROM PLAYA PESQUERO 23/01/17.......SHOULD HAVE BEEN 17/01 !
REASON ?
HAD A STAY AT THE LENIN HOSPITAL AS I WAS NOT FIT TO FLY DUE TO SICKNESS/DIARRAEH ETC.
OXYGEN AND I V LINE GIVEN AT HOLGIN AIRPORT,MISSED FLIGHT HOME,AMBULANCE TO HOSPITAL AND STAYED STRANDED FOR THREE DAYS THERE,10L OF SALINE AND MANY TABLETS LATER WE WERE DEEMED FIT TO FLY,BUT WITH NO FLIGHT HOME FOR ANOTHER 5 DAYS !
BASICALLY WE GOT HOME EVENTUALLY VIA FRANKFURT.
THOMAS COOK IN COMPLETE DENIAL OF ISSUES WITH ILLNESS AT THIS HOTEL(YEARS OF HISTORICAL ISSUES )
THEY ARE STILL SENDING PEOPLE THERE INCLUDING VERY YOUNG AND ELDERLY,DOES IT TAKE A DEATH ?
WE DIDNT DEHYDRATE DUE TO ALCOHOL AS WE DONT DRINK !
WE ARE NOW TAKING THE "ALTERNATIVE ROUTE "FOR COMPENSATION
