Anne 15th April 2010 Hi I will be travelling in Cuba soon with my cuban boyfriend. Do you have any advice about where we can stay? We hope to stay in the province of villa clara, at the beach, Camaguey and Santiago de cuba. I'd appreciate any advice you can give. I understand cuban nationals are bot allowed to stay in casa particulares, Is this also the case for hotels? Is there any other accommodation? Crocodile John 15th April 2010 The rules have changed. I think you can bring your friend to the hotel now. Luisa 16th April 2010 Hi Anne, now all cubans can stay at any hotel in Cuba. Pamela 25th May 2011 You can stay in any Casa Paticular - the rate for a night runs anywhere from 15-30 per night. Varadero is rnning approx. 30$ per night, smaller , non tourist cities will be a little cheaper.
