Hi all, me a my girlfriend are going to cuba middle of june and i'm planning to propose so i'm interested if theres is anywhere particularly romantic where i could do it ? We're staying at varadero but are planning a trip to havana so have any of you good people got any advise to give, all advice welcome

Hi:
There are many romantic places in Havana but of course it depends on what kind of places you prefer, what you prefer to do etc. I would suggest you, for example, going to the Bar La Torre, at the Focsa building, in Vedado. It is great getting there in the afternoon to see the sunset having a mojito or a daiquiri. You can do the same just sitting at the beach in Santa Maria, for example. In the nights you can go dancing to any of the cabarets like the Cada de la Musica, Salon Rojo, Copa Room, Havana Cafe etc. Depends on whether you like salsa music or boleros etc.
