We are planning to go to Cuba for 2 weeks starting on the 1st of September. We have read that September is a hurricane season and are a bit concern of flying at that time.
Should we cancel our flight and rearrange for another period?
Many thanks for your help.
Kind regards,

Dear Christian and Natasha:
Unfortunately both summer and hurricane season come toguether but it does not mean that there is a hurricane every week. If you want to come to Cuba in summer then you have to take the risk. Otherwise the only solution would be coming in winter, but then you will have some other problems like cold fronts arriving to our territory from time to time, big waves in the sea etc.
Kind regards,

I have a very similar question: we are planning our honeymoon in Cuba and we have to chose october or november, which of these are better for our holiday?
Thanks,

Hi Mihaela:
It is hard to say. In both cases it is, letīs say, the end of summer/beginning of winter. The only difference I would say is that, from one side, the possibility of getting a cold front to Cuba in November is higher than in October but the possibility of a hurricane in October is higher than in November, so...I donīt know what to say. In any case take into consideration that the weather in Cuba is almost the same all year long. In winter it changes a little bit when it comes a cold front, getting colder and windy, and afterward it is sunny again till the next cold front comes. If you want to enjoy the beaches I would say it is better to come closer to summer, it is in October. In winter there are big waves because of the strong winds from the north.
Kind regards,
