Anyone know whats going on with the weather in cuba at the moment?? All weather reports say its heavy rain and storms!! Does this mean every couple of hours you get a surge of rain and then its blue skies or should i bring my wellies! Im coming out on sunday, cant wait, im gonna chill in baracoa for a while!

from speaking to friends in Santiago I hear that it is indeed raining quite alot at the moment. Though not every day and not all day either.
I don't think wellies are necessary. I have myself spent a very, very rainy long weekend in Baracoa years ago ... you can still go out, walk, meet people, dance ... just the suntan will not be the same.
A watch-out is that in case of very heavy rains your travel to Baracoa and back again may be impacted. Plan this cautiously.
