So tell me, what do I need to get in the mood for my holiday in Cuba?
I have heard so many great things about Cuba I cannot wait to go on 18th January. Staying in Guardalavaca so tell me, highs and lows. How do I get the most out of this holiday?
Like many other members I have so many questions, if anyone has the time to answer them I would be very grateful. If not I suppose i will find out for my self first hand! lol
Anyway, I wish everyone a very Happy, Healthy and Peaceful New Year!

Hello there!!!
Well, if you stay in Gurdalavaca you don't need more, it's a marvelous beach and plenty of exciting activities, swimming with dolphins, horse riding and scuba diving, etc. Also, Guardalavaca is perfectly located for exploring some of the other places of interest on the east of the island, including Santiago De Cuba and Baracoa.
I hope you enjoy it |

| My best advice to get in the mood is to do historical research. Cuba is full of architechural, music and art history, also the rum is really good. Start listening to the music and learning spanish. they are a very proud country. Watch the movie CHE. |

Jane,
are you flying Thomson on Monday ? In which case I am on the same flight, I am travelling alone - and as that should stay out from the other travellers. Don't hesitate to seek me out, we can have a chat then and I'll tell you about my years of travel to Cuba, experiences, tips and tricks for exploring outside the resort.
