In the past, I have flown from Tijuana to Havana with Taino Tours. I'd like to go again in May or mid-June. They haven't replied to the e-mail I sent them, so I hope someone here can advise me on this:
1. How much is the round-trip airfare price, and how much is the Cuban visa? (I know I'll have to pay them in cash, and want to know exactly how much money to bring to their Tijuana office).
Also, how much is the Mexican transit visa which I pay when I fly?
2. Taino's Tijuana office: What hours are they open, what days are they open?
3. What documents would I need to bring them, other than my passport and maybe some passport size photos?
4. Can I bring liquids in my CARRY-ON bag on Mexicana airlines? I'd like to bring some cooking oils, shampoo, bottled juice, etc.
I really appreciate it-I have many friends in Havana and hope to bring them lots of gifts! |

| Do not, I repeat DO NOT use TAINO TOURS. This company is a product of the worse of what is produced by the Comunist system. I just used them to go to Cuba to visit some very eldery relatives and they made mistakes on my return ticket they did not correct. The woman in Habana Elida Camejo is uncaring, rude and a liar. I had to spend over $200 making calls from Habana airport to my husband in California and he had to travel to Tijuana to purchase a ticket with Mexicana to get me out of the country. After paying $789 for a round trip ticket that they screwed up and did not give a dam, I ended up paying another $547 to Mexicana to be able to get home. It was a nightmare. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! They have no clue of what customer service or accountability is or ethics for that matter. |
